It is not applied toward the vehicle purchase price or other third-party costs unless otherwise stated in writing.
4. Vehicle Selection
Kinomi may provide customers with available vehicle listings based on their requested specifications. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving a vehicle before purchase.
Once a customer authorizes Kinomi to proceed with a purchase, the customer will be responsible for costs associated with that vehicle even if the customer later changes their mind, subject to the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Vehicle Condition
Used vehicles may contain mechanical, electrical, cosmetic, structural, or other defects, including defects that may not be apparent during inspection.
Auction grades, inspection reports, photographs, videos, and third-party descriptions are provided as available and should not be considered a guarantee of vehicle condition.

These costs may include auction fees, Japanese taxes, transportation, export fees, storage, shipping, inspection, maintenance, and other third-party expenses.
3. Cancellation Before Purchase
If a customer cancels before a vehicle has been purchased, Kinomi may refund eligible unused funds after deducting any non-refundable fees or costs already incurred.
4. Cancellation After Purchase
If the customer cancels after the vehicle has been purchased, cancellation fees and applicable penalty fees will be charged. These fees may include auction cancellation penalties, transaction fees, transportation costs, and any other costs incurred as a result of the cancellation. The customer is responsible for all such costs, and any remaining eligible balance may be refunded after all fees and expenses have been deducted.
5. Service Fees
Kinomi service fees compensate Kinomi for sourcing, coordination, administrative work, communication, and other services provided.
Service fees may become non-refundable once the corresponding services have been performed or the transaction has progressed beyond the applicable cancellation stage.
6. Third-Party Refunds
If a refund depends on a third party, including an auction, exporter, shipping company, mechanic, or other provider, Kinomi cannot guarantee the timing or amount of that refund.
Any eligible amount received by Kinomi on behalf of the customer will be handled in accordance with the applicable transaction agreement.
7. Refund Timing
Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method when reasonably possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

9. Final Determination
Refund eligibility may vary depending on the individual transaction, applicable contract, and costs already incurred.
Where a signed customer agreement contains specific refund or cancellation terms, those terms will control for that transaction.

DISCLAIMERS
Effective Date: August 29, 2026
1. No Vehicle Warranty
Unless expressly provided in a separate written warranty, Kinomi does not warrant the condition, reliability, performance, safety, or future operating condition of any vehicle.
All vehicles are used vehicles and may contain known or unknown defects.
2. Inspections
Vehicle inspections are intended to provide additional information regarding the vehicle’s condition. An inspection does not guarantee that all defects will be identified.
3. Maintenance and Repairs
Maintenance and repairs performed by third-party mechanics are the responsibility of the applicable service provider.
Kinomi may facilitate and coordinate requested work but does not guarantee third-party workmanship or the future performance of repaired components.
4. Stress Testing
When requested or included as part of Kinomi’s process, Kinomi may perform or coordinate a post-maintenance road test intended to identify overlooked wear, abnormal behavior, or improper installation.
A stress test is an additional quality-control measure and is not a warranty, inspection certification, or guarantee of future reliability.
If the stress test identifies an issue, Kinomi will communicate the finding to the customer when reasonably possible. Any additional repair must be authorized and paid for by the customer.
5. Third-Party Providers
Kinomi works with independent third parties, including mechanics, exporters, shipping companies, customs brokers, auction houses, transportation providers, and other service providers.
Kinomi is not responsible for third-party actions, omissions, delays, workmanship, pricing, or decisions except where required by applicable law.
6. Shipping and Customs
Shipping schedules, customs clearance, government approvals, tariffs, duties, and other import-related matters may be affected by circumstances outside Kinomi’s control.
Estimated timelines and costs are not guarantees.
7. Photographs and Descriptions
Photographs, auction listings, inspection reports, videos, and descriptions may not reveal every defect or condition of a vehicle.
Customers should understand that used vehicles may have wear consistent with their age, mileage, use, and history.
The customer is responsible for applicable transportation costs.
8. No Guarantee of Registration
Kinomi does not guarantee that a vehicle will be approved for registration, titled, inspected, or operated in a particular state, country, or jurisdiction.
Customers are responsible for confirming applicable local requirements.
