木の実 | KINOMI
Kinomi was born from a combination of our founders’ Japanese last names: Kinoshita and Nomi.
However, combined, Kinomi also translates to “fruit from a tree”. At Kinomi, we believe every product we provide should be nurtured and cared for as if it were our own, ensuring the highest level of quality from start to finish.
The kanji for Kinomi can also mean “Tree of Truth,” reflecting our commitment to honesty. When Yooto and Ashwin entered the Japanese export world, they found an industry plagued by hidden markups, and misleading listings.
Kinomi was born from a simple but powerful idea: to bring honesty back to the industry. By eliminating unnecessary middlemen, we ensure that our customers receive fair, transparent pricing, with products sourced directly from auctions and delivered straight to their hands.
Just as the quality of a fruit is determined by the health of the tree that bears it, we believe the integrity of our business defines the trust we build with our customers. At Kinomi, we are committed to doing business with honesty, transparency, and a relentless dedication to quality.
The Founders
Our founders, Yooto Joo and Ashwin Nomi, bring a wealth of experience and cultural insight to the business. Yooto, born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, is fluent in Japanese, English, and Korean, with an extensive network of exporters and businesses in Japan. His deep connections grant Kinomi clients access to exclusive resources and industry opportunities that are typically limited to Japanese nationals.
Ashwin, born and raised in Texas with both American and Japanese heritage, grew up immersed in Japanese culture. His unique background allows him to bridge the gap between both markets, ensuring smooth communication and efficient transactions for our clients.
Together, we combine insider knowledge, international expertise, and strong industry relationships to make importing vehicles from Japan a straightforward and hassle-free experience.
